Welcome to WeTest!

​

WeTest is a community-driven initiative focused on Software Testing, Quality Engineering, and User Experience (UX).

​

What started as a small community effort gradually evolved into one of the largest QA & UX community initiatives in Greece.

​

Our journey started back in 2016, when the GRTB (Greek Software Testing Board), the Greek chapter of ISTQB®, was founded.

​

Between 2016 and 2018, we organized a series of local meetups and free hands-on workshops focused on software testing, automation, quality practices, and knowledge sharing within the Greek tech community.

​

In 2018, we organized the first larger-scale community event:

𝗚𝗥𝗧𝗕 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀 — a two-day experience featuring:

• one half conference day

• one full hands-on workshop day

In 2019, the first WeTest.Athens became reality:

the first dedicated conference in Greece focused entirely on Software Testing and Quality Assurance.

​

Over the years, the community continued to grow organically through the support of volunteers, speakers, communities, sponsors, and attendees who believed in the vision of creating accessible and high-quality technical events in Greece.

​

In 2025, WeTest expanded even further by introducing a dedicated UX track, bringing together testers, developers, UX designers, researchers, product people, and engineers into one shared community experience.

​

In 2026, the WeTest journey continues with the launch of WeTest.SKG — our first conference in Thessaloniki — expanding the community and bringing more opportunities for learning and collaboration across Greece.

​

Today, WeTest continues to evolve through:

• conferences

• workshops

• community collaborations

• and international knowledge sharing

Our mission remains simple:
to create open, community-oriented spaces where people can learn, connect, exchange ideas, and grow together.
